Featured Workshop: The Ups and Downs of ADHD:
And how to navigate it

Access to mental health resources is the thing I’m most passionate about these days. How do we talk about the hard things, have places to people to land and learn from when they need it the most? Through our online platform, we will be diving into topics that I often get asked about for a monthly 90-minute workshop. Tickets to each workshop are $25 and with your ticket purchase, you will have access to a replay for 7-days and downloadable resources that I put together on each topic.

*Please note, ticket sales close the day of each workshop at 8 p.m. MST

Quite often these days I hear people refer to other people as “narcissistic” or “histrionic” when describing someone whose behaviour they deem unfit. What is often misunderstood about personality disorders is that you’re not born with them. You develop a particular way of coping with the world based on the things that have happened to you.

In this 90-minute online workshop, Dr. Jody will explain what exactly narccism and personality disorders are and how to better navigate them. Jody will leave you with key takeaways, resources and an interactive discussion during this workshop. Sign up today!

Social media is ubiquitous in our world today, and like it or hate it, it’s something parents will need to navigate with (most) kids and teenagers. The tricky part is social media is still somewhat new and we don’t know the exact ramifications of these platforms on our kids’ mental wellness.

In this workshop, we’ll talk about everything from setting boundaries and trusting our kids to online bullying and safety. Join me for a 90-minute discussion where we will share information, stories, laughs and some solid takeaways, including downloadable resources. Bring your questions as we navigate this complex topic together.

Typically people who have suffered trauma, especially trauma that has not been addressed or acknowledged, experience PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Let me be clear about one thing: PTSD is NOT a mental illness. It is a psychological injury. And here’s the kicker – it affects the whole family. Most importantly, it takes a family-effort to heal. There has been a long line of resources developed, but very little effort has been directed to the support systems.

In this 90-minute workshop, Dr. Jody will discuss what PTSD is, how it affects the whole family and share best practices on how to cope with this psychological injury. She will provide key takeaways, resources and answer any questions you have on this topic.
