27th August 2022, 10 AM - 4 PM MST

River Cree Resort & Casino, Enoch, AB

About the event

Education is one of the most important and taxing professions on the planet. Our teachers are exhausted because what they do in a day takes more heart, more energy, and more creativity than most of us could ever imagine. Every day, you cannot predict the mix of emotions, hormones, joys and pains. That kind of output takes a special kind of soul, a lot of courage, and can lead quickly to burnout.

Teachers are heroes.

And if they’re not okay, the kids don’t stand a chance. We want nothing more than our sweet educators to feel seen. That is the reason for RELIT 2022, our sixth annual one-day conference for educators, to be held on August 27th in Edmonton, Alberta! If you’re a teacher, an educator, or a leader of children, this day is designed for you.

We’ve created another soul-filling, informative experience with a bevy of dynamic speakers, educator-focused stories, and amazing resources. This is more than a PD Day, it’s a day for you to relax and recharge, and for someone else to take care of you for a change. #DisconnectToReconnect. Dr. Jody and her team will entertain you, teach you, feed you—hell, we’ll even burp you, if you ask us politely.

And my friends, we are finally back in person, after two long years. I can’t wait to see you and remind you how powerful and impactful you are to so many.
