International Women’s Day – a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and grit by everyday women, who have done extraordinary things throughout history in their communities. From challenge comes change.
March 8th reminds us to take action for equality and raise awareness against bias. This isn’t about women being better than men. This is all about connecting people in this world who have the same visions, hopes, and empowering dreams: the women I know—powerful women. The time is now to use our skill in connection, we need female energy, and the emotional language that often comes with it, to take a seat at the head of the table.
Women have many superpowers but one of our greatest, is accessing that emotional language to navigate hard challenges and then reconnecting our communities so that we can grow the next generation of men and women.
